(Note:It is not necessary to do the Introductory Course parts in Order, you can book and enjoy any part, each has a seperate set of dishes but is of a similar standard. )
In just one busy week this course brings complete beginners to the point where, to their delight and amazement, they are able to cook delicious meals and entertain with panache. Popular with both young people, who are keen to learn the basics quickly and correctly, and older people, who may be in the position of having to cook for themselves for the first time.
This course teaches all the essential skills – making breads, soups, patés, roasts, vegetable dishes, desserts, pastry – right through to jam and biscuits. Students prepare in the morning session the menu demonstrated the previous afternoon and then enjoy it for lunch. After this valuable initiation they are well equipped to enjoy experimenting further at home.
If you’ve already done a different Part of this course, why not come back and do Part 3. All parts are of a similar standard and style. Part 3 features different recipes from the other parts. If you have already done Part 3 you could do one of the other parts of this course, listed below.
A Deposit of 25% of the course fee is required on booking.
Students will have the opportunity to taste all the dishes prepared. Lunch each day is included.
